Twenty One Engineering is looking for a motivated, positive, and eager individual to join our team as a Building Services Engineering Apprentice. About the Role: As an apprentice, you’ll receive comprehensive training and education while working towards becoming a specialist in the systems that keep buildings running efficiently - such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems. You’ll also focus on helping our clients meet Net Zero criteria.
What You’ll Learn:
* Design & Installation: Gain hands-on experience designing, installing, and maintaining building systems. At Twenty One Engineering, we emphasise sustainable solutions in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems.
* Technical Skills: Learn practical skills in areas like pipework, ductwork, electrical wiring, and building management systems.
* Problem-Solving: Develop your ability to diagnose and resolve issues with building systems and energy management to ensure efficiency and safety.
* Safety & Compliance: Become proficient in health and safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
* Collaboration: Work alongside experienced engineers and tradespeople, improving your coordination and communication skills.
* Continuous Learning: Build the mindset of an industry leader, learning from both formal education and your colleagues.
Qualifications & Skills:
* A problem-solving mindset is essential; we're looking for candidates with prior experience tackling challenges in any field.
* Formal Education: You’ll need the following academic qualifications:
* BTEC Level-3 Engineering (Merit or Pass)
* NVQ Level-3 Engineering and Level-3 bridging units (if applicable)
* Appropriate STEM A/AS levels or equivalent (Minimum 32 UCAS points)
Other Requirements:
* A driving license is preferred but not essential, as the role will involve travel between our offices in CM6 3LD and client sites.
* Occasional out-of-hours support for clients may be required.
* The role is paid, and travel costs to client sites are covered.
* Applicants must have the existing right to work in the UK (this role excludes sponsorship).
