The role:
The team is an advertising solutions team enabling advertisers to reach and engage audiences with targeted ad campaigns. They harness powerful insights from over 50 million connected TVs (CTV) in Europe!
The connected TVs provide data on everything around viewing behaviour, which shows people watch, which apps they use to watch, what time of the day, are they watching on a TV on a tablet etc, what other devices are connected to TVs, Xbox, PS4s etc and how they’re being used.
All of that information they can combine with data from mobile phones to give a really good picture on audiences. TV viewing data is the primary source of data, they also use Experian data and some primary research.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Partner with Sales in engaging top clients and agencies to understand their needs, and advocate for how company’s data can help them reach their audiences more effectively and efficiently.
2. Translate client and internal requirements into meaningful set of SQL queries for ad hoc analysis. The overall aim is to use data to demonstrate the value of advertising.
3. Explore data to identify trends and anomalies, support the development of new analytical capabilities/solutions, and find new monetization opportunities.
4. Be a strategic partner to commercial teams during the entire sales life cycle, providing insights for prospecting, and personalised insights for pitching.
5. Inform revenue growth by cross-selling and upselling value-add analytical products to existing clients.
Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
2. Demonstrable experience with practical application of SQL.
3. Working knowledge of a visualisation tool – Tableau, Looker, or equivalent data visualisation tool.
4. Agency experience (media or advertising agency), the role will involve working with a number of agencies – so knowledge of how agencies work is beneficial.
5. Ability to facilitate client meetings to explain new concepts and draw out.
