Job Description
The Cluster E-commerce Manager will be responsible for driving online revenue and enhancing the digital presence across multiple hotel properties. This role will focus on optimizing e-commerce strategies, managing digital marketing initiatives, and ensuring seamless integration of all online platforms to boost visibility, engagement, and direct bookings. The role reports directly to the Country Digital Director and collaborates closely with the marketing, sales, and revenue teams of the individual properties.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
1. E-commerce Strategy Development & Execution
o Lead the development and execution of the country-wide e-commerce strategy for all hotel properties.
o Identify growth opportunities to increase direct bookings through hotel websites and other owned digital channels.
o Optimize the user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimization (CRO) for all hotel websites and mobile platforms.
2. Digital Marketing & Campaign Management
o Manage and coordinate all digital marketing activities (SEO, SEM, social media, display advertising, and email marketing).
o Oversee the implementation of paid media campaigns and promotional strategies to drive traffic and revenue.
o Collaborate with external agencies and internal teams to develop and execute content strategies, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
3. Performance Analysis & Reporting
o Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic, conversion rates, revenue, and ROI from all digital channels.
o Provide regular performance updates to the Country Digital Director and other senior stakeholders.
o Identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement through data analysis.
4. Content Management
o Create, curate, and manage high-quality content for various channels including websites, email newsletters, social media, and promotional materials.
o Ensure content is aligned with brand messaging and tailored to different market segments.
o Collaborate with property teams to gather insights and showcase unique features and promotions.
5. Collaboration & Cross-functional Coordination
o Work closely with property-level marketing teams to ensure local market needs are met while maintaining a consistent digital strategy across the country.
o Collaborate with the revenue management, distribution, and IT teams to ensure seamless online booking experiences.
o Coordinate with the regional and global digital teams to align with broader corporate strategies.
6. Budget Management & Resource Allocation
o Manage the digital and e-commerce budget for the country, ensuring optimal use of resources to drive results.
o Monitor spending and performance to ensure ROI on all digital initiatives.
7. Stay Updated on Digital Trends
o Keep up with emerging trends and best practices in e-commerce and digital marketing.
o Test and implement new tools, platforms, and technologies to stay ahead in the competitive digital landscape.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
* 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related field, ideally within the hospitality or travel industry.
* Proven track record in managing multi-property digital marketing strategies.
* Strong understanding of online booking platforms, website management, and content management systems (CMS).
* Experience with SEO, SEM, paid media campaigns, social media, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.).
* Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret digital performance metrics.
* Excellent communication and project management skills.
* Ability to collaborate and manage relationships with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
* Proficiency in web analytics, A/B testing, and CRO techniques.
