Salary: £30,500 (Pro rata)
Location: Leicester & Hybrid
This is a fixed term contract role to cover maternity leave for 7 months.
Based in our clients Leicester Head Office (but with the option of home working on a flexible basis) the role will require the individual to deliver a competitive advantage and sustainable value to all UK spend.
The successful candidate will be required to manage negotiations and contractual agreements with a wide portfolio of suppliers.
You will be expected to lead a variety of RFPs and tenders in order to support strategic cost-saving targets.
You will be responsible for managing the sourcing and procurement process across supplier categories ranging from Marketing and Professional services to Maintenance & Repair of Vehicles and Facilities Management.
Main duties:
Price and contract negotiations with external suppliers
Execution of RFPs and tenders
Supporting Business Process owners with negotiations and contractual queries
Working closely with the Legal, Finance and Contract management teams
Promoting sourcing and procurement processes and procedures
Suppliers spend analysis and benchmarking
Optimisation of existing and future supplier relationships, processes and spend
Achieving UK and Group cost-saving targets
