We're looking for an Electrical biased Quality Engineer to play a key role in the construction of a 150MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Wilton International, Teesside. The project, set to be Europe's largest battery energy storage system, will contribute significantly to the UK's grid resiliency and net zero targets.
Responsibilities:
1. Producing and reviewing Inspection and Test Plans (ITP's) and Inspection Test Records (ITR's).
2. Liaising with supply chain partners and clients to ensure we meet deadlines and maintain our high standards of work.
3. Reviewing quality documentation produced by others and providing feedback to ensure it meets our standards and is approved by both our team and client.
4. Conducting quality audits to ensure the Delivery team adheres to the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
Qualifications:
1. Knowledge of Electrical Engineering specifications.
2. Experience producing electrically focused ITP's/ITR's.
3. Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud is beneficial.
4. Understanding of electrical and civil engineering principles and practices.
5. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
6. A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region.
