The Internal Communications Executive will be part of a team that are the driving force to deliver engaging and impactful internal communications to help Williams Racing’s diverse workforce feel connected, informed and motivated.
You will be a key player in the delivery of the employee communications approach that has been designed to connect employees to the business strategy, values and behaviours, supporting a high-performance culture, and deliver an engaging employee communications experience.
You will be a great storyteller who is able to build relationships across all company functions to discover compelling stories that fit into an overall company narrative. You will transform these stories into engaging content assets, bringing them to life for our employees across multiple channels, both digital and in person. And support our programme of employee engagement events.
The Internal Communications Executive will be a hands-on team member who is able to deliver at pace, work with ambiguity and manage competing priorities. All the time collecting insight that will help drive the future of internal communications at Williams Racing.
As an Internal Communications Executive you will:
1. Work within the Internal Communications team, you will play a key role in the execution of the internal communications strategy ensuring organisational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders.
2. Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as our intranet, digital channels and internal communication events.
3. Work closely with key stakeholders across the business to increase frontline engagement and develop content for the regular programme of internal communications.
4. Support key internal communication projects and change initiatives.
5. Help to build a content calendar that supports the delivery of multiple streams of content and events across all channels.
6. Support key internal communications events such as regular race debriefs, all staff town halls and staff engagement activities.
7. Provide support to the internal communications manager during crisis situations which affect organisational perception and reputation.
8. Use audience insight and analytics to help drive our IC strategy, channel selection, content calendar, and messaging with the objective of continuous improvement.
9. Ensure our values and behaviours are embedded into all comms to re-enforce and bring them to life.
The ideal candidate will have:
10. Experience of developing and delivering corporate employee/internal communications.
11. A great storyteller with excellent English language writing and editing skills, able to tailor complex and technical content to different audiences.
12. Excellent editorial and copywriting abilities.
13. Ability to develop and deliver communications that support a wide range of challenges.
14. Highly organised, able to demonstrate previous experience of prioritising and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
15. Strong interpersonal skills, with the capability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
16. Experience of creating and delivering content via digital internal communications channels
17. Experience of organising and producing employee events
18. An enthusiastic and active contributor and team colleague who collaborates on ideas, opportunities and issues in order to deliver team goals.
