Elvet Recruitment has been appointed to recruit a Lettings Negotiator to join an Estate Agency in Newcastle.
Main duties will include:
1. Conduct property viewings, providing prospective tenants with detailed information.
2. Stay informed about the local property market to offer accurate insights.
3. Handle administrative duties, including contract preparation and record-keeping.
4. Assist in tenant referencing and background checks.
5. Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and follow-ups.
6. Coordinate property preparations for move-ins, such as arranging safety certifications and cleaning.
7. Perform pre-move-in property visits to complete inventory reports.
8. Address tenant inquiries before and during their tenancy.
9. Conduct routine property inspections using our reporting software.
10. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
Skills and experience:
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client engagement.
2. Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage documents and maintain accurate records.
3. Exceptional organisational abilities to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
4. A valid driver's license is required.
Role information:
1. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9 - 5.
2. Salary is circa £22,000 - £25,000 plus profit share (paid monthly).
