This role sits within the BrokerTec Fixed Income businesses that operate in London, New York, Amsterdam, Singapore, and Chicago. The primary responsibility is to help grow the revenue of the Fixed Income business through the increased use of electronic trading in both existing core markets and into new sectors and product lines. The role, supporting the Executive Director of BrokerTec Products, will require a significant amount of autonomy, initiative, and creativity.

The role:
This position will be based in London. The role will primarily focus on leading BrokerTec Quote in Europe, working closely with the teams in Amsterdam, NY, Chicago, and Singapore. It will require daily interaction with market participants across the financing markets including repo buy and sell sides as well as agent lenders. The role will also extend to support the central limit order book and EGB business lines. The individual will be required to coordinate and manage the European Quote team whilst also:
1. Contribute, write and execute business plans and objectives
2. Deliver new products and enhancement of existing products and new markets.
3. Prioritization of features and functionality pipelines working closely with technology
4. Developing, organizing, and executing the pipeline of new customers to integration
5. Monitoring and developing analytical tools for increasing existing customer growth adoption
6. Owning/defining risk parameters on the platform
7. Staying closely aligned to changes in the financing markets/regulations and adapting technology accordingly
8. Innovation of new products in association with the wider CME franchise
9. Work closely with legal and compliance, the various onboarding teams and operational support, media & marketing, and CME Sales teams.
10. Work side by side with the business manager contributing to budget, pricing schedule decisions and bring new jurisdictions and products to market
The individual:
The individual sought will be looking for a diverse role and enjoys working in a close-knit team. The role will require a deep understanding of the financing markets and experience in financing repo and securities lending.
Skills:
1. Excellent understanding of Financing (D2C & D2D) and any associated relevant products gained via front office exposure within investment banking, agent lending, or electronic trading firm or equivalent relevant experience in product development. Key markets included, but not limited to: Repo, EGBs, TRS, Corporate bonds, Securities Lending, Equities financing
2. Sales and Relationship Management exposure thus the ability to market and communicate with clients and various institutions within a day-to-day market environment and via more formal presentations
3. Ability to design, plan, validate and deliver complex business solutions from conception to launch.
4. Experience of working with and delivering trading platform products, functional enhancements, new product solutions
5. Experience with running/using trading systems
6. Ability to identify and refine commercial opportunities into business cases, from start to end
7. Understand and anticipate changing business needs as a result of changing environments including regulatory landscapes
8. Strong understanding of technology and highly interested in how technology can further financial markets
Competencies:
1. Strong and confident communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)
2. Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint). Use of Google applications beneficial

Working Hours: Although core hours will be 7.30am-5.30pm, working hours will be varied. There is a requirement to start 6.45am on a rotational basis, as the team covers the market trading hours. Occasional US hours will be required in addition to some Saturday working (to support new releases).
