Handley James have been retained by a well-established manufacturer of specialist engineered products based in Burnley. As a result of expansion, growth and continued development they have retained our services to source a Production Manager to join the business and work collaboratively to support the expansion of the business from a manufacturing and operations perspective. Reporting to a board level Director, you will be responsible for the following: Driving and improving operational performance to meet strategic and financial goals Providing overall leadership across Production and Planning Establishing, monitoring, and improving core KPIs based on a SQCDP platform Improving the overall efficiencies of the business, with a focus on OTIF and OEE In developing and mentoring core team members Currently a Production Manager or Manufacturing Manager within a multi process manufacturer, you will be experienced in improving an organisation but in a measured and consistent way. Ideally, you will have gained experience within an engineering biased manufacturer. You will be proven in improving OTIF and OEE specifically and will have achieved this through employee engagement and development. You will be open, honest and transparent in terms of your core behaviours and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As an expanding organisation and one that is extremely entrepreneurial, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary and package of between £50,000 and £60,000 (DOE) and the company operate a 4 day working week.
