We are seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to join a leading sheet metal business and drive revenue while building long-term relationships with OEM clients. This role involves identifying new business opportunities and negotiating contracts to grow their presence in the OEM market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. OEM Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to expand relationships with OEMs.
2. Lead Generation & Business Development: Identify and prospect new OEM clients through outreach, networking, and industry events.
3. Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and closing deals.
4. Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
5. Collaboration: Work with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions and support seamless client implementation.
6. Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain accurate CRM records and report on sales performance.
Required Qualifications:
1. Experience: Minimum 3 years in sales or business development in the OEM sector and ability to read CAD/CAM drawings.
2. Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills; proficiency in CRM systems.
3. Other: Ability to travel as required; self-motivated and goal-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Industry Experience: Familiarity with OEM sales cycles in industries such as aerospace, medical equipment, or manufacturing.
2. Technical Knowledge: Ability to understand and communicate technical solutions to OEM clients.
