We have the excellent opportunity for a Team Lead to join our Ways to Wellness team Ways to Wellness supports people living in Newcastle with long term health conditions. Our aims are to support the development of lasting behaviour change which underpins improved mental and physical wellbeing and reduce the use of mainstream health services by enabling people to lead healthier lives and better manage their conditions. You will support the Service Manager in all aspects of the service, to deliver high standards of client support, and achieve agreed targets and outcomes. You will be responsible for the management and leadership of a team of link workers, providing supervision, coaching and support. You will work in partnership with a wide range of statutory and non-statutory services and voluntary and community agencies to improve the quality of life for people living with long term health conditions. About you We would love to hear from you if you possess the following: Qualified by experience Demonstrable experience of managing a team including associated HR processes Significant experience working a health and social care setting Significant experience of working to set targets/KPIs for commissioned or statutory services Significant experience of working 1:1 with with service users and/or people with complex needs Significant experience of working within health, social care of VCSE systems Understanding of the challenges and barriers on accessing services Understanding recovery in the context of mental health and/or long term health conditions What we offer in return We are proud to have been recognised and certified as a Great Place to Work, which speaks volumes on how much we value our staff members.
