We are looking for an Information Security and Data Leader to join our Marketing team. This role has a dual purpose of a) leading the information security compliance for SPD GmbH (Switzerland), SPD Development Company Ltd (Bedford, UK) and SPD Trading Shanghai (China) by ensuring appropriate processes and policies are established and maintained to ensure the safety of information systems and data in compliance with relevant regulations, b) driving the digital and data transformation of SPD. SPD (Swiss Precision Diagnostics) are world leaders in the research, design, and supply of advanced consumer diagnostic products. SPD is a joint venture business between P&G and Abbott and our brand Clearblue is recognised the world over as providing accurate home pregnancy and fertility monitoring tests. Main Responsibilities Infosec: Establish and lead an information security management system (ISMS) by developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures, based on business needs, risk assessments, and regulatory requirements to ensure safeguarding of SPDs information systems and data. Regularly re-evaluate processes, policies, and procedures to drive continuous improvements and innovation. Collaborate with our IT providers to ensure the secure design and implementation of systems, networks, and applications. Ensure the ISMS adheres to NIS2, ISO27001 or other relevant standard/regulations as identified. Co-ordinate risk assessments with data owners, information security audits and the response to data breaches or security breaches. Present the investigation/audit results to relevant stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of key finding and suggested actions. Lead the development and maintenance of disaster recovery plans for company information security and data, ensuring effective communication as necessary. Report the effectiveness of security controls to the SPD lead team. Provide recommendations for correct approach and strategy where security gaps exist or inadequate tools or processes are found, all within a reasonable balance between security, cost, and productivity. Promote security awareness through the development and maintenance of appropriate training materials and lead the training of all employees on information security. IT leader: Play an active role to drive the data and digital transformation of SPD leading selected projects at global level and overseeing implementation with the regions. Partner with multifunctional teams to solve business problems using analytical expertise, data and system knowledge (e.g. drive ecom sales, identify brand growth opportunities, measure ROI of MSE investments, etc.). Deliver additional value via data visualization, and analytic tools to grasp the business insights from data to enable quicker and better decisions. Lead the collaboration with P&G / Abbott IT departments to reapply capabilities best fit for SPD. The job role may require occasional international travel. Professional certifications in information security i.e. certified information security systems security professional (CISSP), are highly desirable. Proven experience in an information security role and ideally experience of NIS2 compliance. Experience with risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods. Experience using analytics techniques (for example, AI/Machine Learning, Econometrics, Operations Research, Statistics, Root Cause Diagnostics) to tackle defined business problems. Data management and visualization skills/tools in one or more of the following: for example, Databricks, SQL, KNIME, Tableau, Power BI, JMP/SPSS or similar). Excellent problem solving and analytical skills to assess security issues. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong team player, build trust and respect in relationship. Ability to influence. Accountable for results. Able to work with limited guidance. Experience in dealing with significant complexity in a fast-paced environment. Effective priority management is essential. Curious, creative, insightful.
