Head of Estate Management and Transactions
Location: 2 Callaghan Square, Cardiff
Grade G – Starting at £52,704 (£52,704 - £59,629)
Permanent – Full time (34.75 hours per week)
(The nature of this role requires some flexibility in terms of working hours and location. Home working will be permitted on a negotiated basis with the Director of Property Services)
We are looking for an experienced Chartered Surveyor to lead a small team delivering property transactions and providing estate management advice on behalf of the Church in Wales.
The Head of Estate Management and Transactions is responsible for organizing and planning estate management work including:
1. Property sales
2. Purchases
3. lettings
4. Easements
5. Licences
6. Provision of general estate management advice
7. Identifying development opportunities
You will be responsible for the selection and appointment of estate and letting agents across Wales and for maintaining an appropriate list of consultants.
The Provincial Property Department is going through a period of restructure and change to be better placed to meet the changing needs of the Church in Wales. Your team will be one of four property teams working closely together, with other departments within the organization, and with Diocesan colleagues.
The successful candidate will be required to complete a satisfactory DBS check.
