Your Role: As our Compliance Manager for UK and Ireland, you implement, maintain and monitor our Group Compliance framework, in particular but not limited to the healthcare sector, in close consultation with the sub-regional Compliance Officer North & West Europe. The local compliance program ensures the continuous promotion of ethical business conduct for all business sectors, following compliance standards as well as local codes and regulations. You have in-depth knowledge of Healthcare compliance and act as a trusted advisor and business partner for local colleagues in all business sectors, especially healthcare. You provide guidance and serve as the primary contact for all compliance related matters in the UK and Ireland, including local leadership team. You design and conduct educational and training programs to create and increase awareness about our compliance standards and to prevent and mitigate possible compliance risks for our business sectors. You maintain effective local governance structures, including Compliance Committees, and procedures for compliance oversight and management with clearly defined accountability for local compliance responsibilities. Also effective participation in Country Council meetings and annual Board meetings is required. You monitor and review business interactions and third parties / business partners, and when necessary investigate; you are also identifying and assessing compliance trends, relevant laws and regulations to develop necessary action plans and lead initiatives to ensure timely compliance by the company. You are an excellent communicator internally and externally, and are able to channel compliance issues appropriately for resolution. Also, you manage the yearly transparency disclosure making sure all requirements are met in close collaboration with global transparency operations. Who you are: A candidate with a degree in Law/Business or other relevant subject. Experienced working within compliance in a healthcare environment A candidate with strong knowledge of ABPI Code and up to date knowledge of UK and Ireland healthcare policies is essential Someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with a variety of different teams to support them in ensuring the most compliant activity. A candidate with a flexible attitude to work who is able to adapt approaches to suit different needs. Training experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
