Electrical Engineering Lecturer
Location: North Somerset (Commutable from Bristol, Bath, Trowbridge, Shepton Mallet)
Salary: £33,000 - £37,000 DOE + Pension (28%), Funded Training, 40 days holiday, Progression & Benefits
Are you an experienced Engineering Lecturer, or an Electrical Engineering expert with a keen interest in moving into the education sector? My client is offering a fantastic opportunity at a Further Education College that is currently seeking the above to deliver Electrical Engineering to their full-time T-Level students and apprentices.
The College is keen to hear from resilient, creative and highly motivated individuals to join our Engineering team on the journey to Outstanding. The right candidate will be a well-motivated individual wishing to share skills and knowledge with students looking to progress into employment and/or Higher Education.
The successful candidate will be delivering on the new T Level courses, as well as AME2, AME3, HNC, HND programmes (Apprenticeship and Higher Education). The successful candidate would be competent and demonstrate expertise and knowledge in the following areas:
1. Engineering Mathematics and Engineering Principles
2. Electrical, Electronic and Digital Principles
3. Electrical networks including three-phase theory
4. Use appropriate laboratory and computer simulation techniques to investigate circuits
5. Programmable Logic Controllers
A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
