At our Production site based in Isleham, Cambridgeshire we are looking for a dynamic team player who can exceed in their duties to help us retain our position as a leading fresh produce supplier in the UK. We’re dedicated to using the very best of sustainable farming techniques in our own farming and collaborating with other expert farmers. We grow the finest quality potatoes and root vegetables which we pack ourselves to supply to our customers.
You will join us on a fulltime, permanent contract.
There are varied shift patterns available; however, the main shift pattern we run will be Panama, two days on, two days off, three days on, two days off, two days on, three days off, equating to 82.25 hours per fortnight.
Responsibility
The Job Role
Reporting directly to the shift supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that we meet quality standards and complete all customer orders on time.
Key responsibilities include:
1. To ensure all raw materials are correctly weighed and labelled and deposited into the correct cold store.
2. To efficiently stack and store the raw materials/finished goods in the appropriate areas, move product to storage location, ensure the product count is accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.
3. Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
4. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
5. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
6. To ensure that the product is correctly loaded and secured on the pallet and taken to the correct cold store. Ensure that it is correctly and safely deposited.
7. To ensure you carry out a daily start-up check on your forklift as per the start-up sheet.
8. When leaving the FLT always ensure the FLT is left with brakes applied, turned off and keys removed.
9. When carrying out an unusual procedure or carrying a difficult load, ensure you review the area and are aware of any potential dangers.
10. Be constantly aware of the people who work around you and always operate at safe travelling speeds; never travel with passengers on the forklift truck.
11. Report any faults on the forklift truck immediately.
12. Report all accidents immediately.
13. To undertake any other duties requested by your Line Manager.
14. Adhere to Produce World’s values and behaviours.

1. 6 Months within an FMCG environment.
2. Must hold the relevant up-to-date FLT Counterbalance Licence.
3. Ability to use Microsoft Office.
4. Literacy and Numeracy skills.
5. A team player.
