Construction Manager (Roofing & Cladding) Up to £60k plus Van & Fuelcard As a construction manager you will oversee the day to day running of ‘Refurbishment’ projects from an operational and on-site perspective, including liaising with the main contractor, overseeing build quality and labour production in all types of roof systems, cladding systems, rainscreen and curtain walling. Responsibilities: Build a strong and lasting relationship with clients. Day to day running of individual projects. Resolve any on site issues. Overseeing and managing all labour/sub-contractors associated with each project. Responsible for onsite Health & Safety. Producing and submitting required RAMS. Carry out Toolbox talks. Ensuring build quality is always of the highest standards, optimising QA procedures. Monitoring and reporting against construction programme, overcoming and adapting to problems presented. Making sure the most up to date drawings are being used for construction and issued to the site team. Making sure all construction works are being carried out to drawings and specification. Liaising with the design department to make sure material orders are scheduled and ordered to hit project requirements. Where required survey, schedule and order materials. Make sure budgets are understood, working to these and liaising with the relevant QS for the project. Arranging for the required access machinery to be organised and maintained. Arranging for the required scaffold access, safety nets, handrails etc. are erected and dismantled along with correct certification in place. Carrying out site surveys from ground and roof level. Qualifications required: SMSTS - CITB Qualification required. IPAF ticket. First Aid training. Full UK driving licence is required.
