Collaborating closely with Assistant Kitchen Managers, you will actively contribute to overseeing the day-to-day operations of various designated Kitchen Units. Taking a hands-on approach, you will support a team of team members, ensuring a seamless and efficient workflow. Your responsibilities extend to maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in food production areas, as well as overseeing the upkeep of equipment and utensils. A paramount aspect of your role involves ensuring strict adherence to Health and Safety legislation, guiding your immediate team in enforcing policies, procedures, and elevated cleaning standards. Key duties will include: Delivering high standards of food production and maintaining compliance to health and safety legislation Ensure your units are operated and maintained to department standards Delegate appropriate tasks to the team Ensure daily and weekly procedures, including temperature checks, food labelling/dating and storage are carried out by the team Support team members in delivering their roles effectively About you You'll thrive under the pressure of a busy shift, whilst focusing the team to deliver excellent quality food standards.
