Job Description
The Senior International Trade Compliance Specialist will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in this role. Key responsibilities include:
* Coordinating, overseeing, and executing the Trade Compliance program, Inward Processing Relief (IPR) program for KCI Manufacturing Unlimited Company, Ireland, and other similar Trade Compliance programs, activities, and responsibilities in EMEA managed by the EMEA Trade Compliance Control Tower.
* Leading, optimizing, managing, and coordinating the IPR program according to current customs law and regulatory requirements, including common customs audits.
* Providing local contact requiring good communication skills both written and oral with internal and external customers, including customs authorities.
* Functional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, e.g., Broker Management, Export Control, Customs Management, duty management & AEO certification.
* Reporting to EMEA Trade Compliance Control Tower Lead and being part of the Global Trade Compliance team, supporting Trade Compliance colleagues in EMEA.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have:
* A Bachelor's degree or higher completed and verified prior to start.
* In-depth experience working in Import-Export Compliance and specifically in filing IPR submissions to Irish Tax & Revenue or other EU-countries with a minimum of 2-3 years.
* In-depth Trade Compliance (three years) experience in a private, government, or military environment.
* Knowledge of regional trade regulations in various EMEA countries, with a willingness to continue learning and growing responsibilities.
Benefits
Solventum offers a competitive salary range of €65,000 - €85,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with excellent benefits, including a hybrid work arrangement, up to 5% domestic travel, and relocation assistance not required.
