THE ROLE The EMEA Direct Real Estate Strategies platform encompasses 11 countries, four sectors, and a diverse range of investment products with a total AUM of around $40bn. Our Investment Operations team is dedicated to establishing consistency, enhancing efficiency, and promoting a unified approach across the EMEA platform. You will collaborate across all business lines within EMEA Direct Real Estate Strategies, driving improvements to streamline our operations in preparation for growth. This role offers a dynamic and challenging experience, allowing you to gain expertise across the entire lifecycle of direct real estate. Key areas of focus include: - Asset and operator client reporting - Acquisitions and disposals - Onboarding of new assets and operator clients - Data delivery and management (including governance) - Third-party management - Data platforms - Valuation - Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors - Successful collaboration is essential to our team's success. You will work closely with various functions within the platform to enhance data-driven communication among local and EMEA-wide teams, as well as with external service providers. QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERRED BACKGROUND - Bachelor's or master's degree; while a real estate-related qualification is not mandatory, relevant industry experience is essential for effectiveness in this role. Familiarity with CBRE IM's operations is a significant advantage. - Up to 5 years of relevant full-time work experience. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. - Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. - Process-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities. - Capability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively within cross-functional teams. - Self-confident with the ability to communicate effectively. - Experience in an international, multicultural working environment (e.g., internships or trainee programs abroad). - Willingness and ability to travel within Europe as needed. - Preferred location is London, but we are open to the right candidate regardless of location.
