Role Overview
One of my clients in IT Support is seeking an IT Support Analyst for a 5-day onsite role in Frome. In this position, you will address incidents and change requests reported via phone, chat, or email, manage escalations from the Service Engineer team, and conduct proactive maintenance tasks. You'll also work closely with the Service Manager to identify and implement improvements for our clients.
IT Support Analyst - 2nd Line Location: Frome (5 days onsite)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding customer service through friendly and effective technical support.
Log support requests promptly, keeping detailed and accurate records of notes and time.
Reference and update client documentation and user guides as needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues from other teams.
Carry out on-site tasks, such as troubleshooting, infrastructure setup, hardware upgrades, and project work.
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in IT support.
Strong customer service, client-facing, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent organizational, time management, and documentation skills, with experience in time logging preferred.
Proficiency with Windows Server, including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, File Services, RDS, IIS, and server hardware troubleshooting.
Experience in Microsoft 365 and Azure administration, including PowerShell skills.
Networking knowledge, including ADSL, VOIP, VLAN, and VPN troubleshooting.
