CAMHS ReACHTeam is a developing service within Wakefield which aims to support youngpeople, their families and carers during periods of crisis. We provide supportacross a range of settings including, hospitals, homes, schools and clinics.The team provides 365 day a year cover between 9am and 8pm, working patternincludes shift work covering 9am-5pm or 12pm-8pm Monday to Friday and 9am-8pmweekends and bank holidays.
We encourageapplicants who have experience of working with children/young people withemotional and mental health needs, and experience of practicing in a flexibleand adaptable manner.
Main duties of the job
-You will work alongside senior mental health practitioners tomanage a caseload of young people presenting with varying mental healthchallenges.
-You will work independently to deliver therapeutic interventionsto children and young people to aid recovery and promote self-management oftheir mental health.
-You will need to develop strong working relationships withprofessionals across the district; therefore excellent communication/engagementskills are essential.
-A commitment to improving service delivery and developing newways of supporting young people and families experiences is crucial to workwithin the wider CAMHS team.
-This is a fast paced role and requires a can do attitude towardstasks.
-The team offer outreach to those that are difficult to engage,providing intensive support to meet identified need contributing to a reductionin admissions to inpatient provision.

Job responsibilities
Theresponsibility of the post holder is to participate in the planning and deliveryof individual care provided by the multidisciplinary team. The NA will workindependently under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, providing holisticevidenced based high quality care to patients and will be professionallyaccountable for their actions. They will supervise and delegate appropriatelyto support staff within the team and they will support and supervise studentsand learners who are on placement
Be responsible for delivering highquality, patient centered, compassionate care under the direction of aRegistered Nurse with a focus on promoting health and independence.
Be an accountable professional.
Work as part of a designatedclinical and care team delivering care that focuses on the direct needs of theindividual.

Person Specification
Training
* Must be willing/able to undertake all appropriate Trust mandatory training requirements, and subsequent refresher training relevant to the area.
* Must be willing / able to undergo job development and training and maintain skills.
* Demonstrate excellent knowledge of service user safety.
Special Knowledge/Skills
* Understand and acts in line with NMC professional standards for practice contained within The Code.
* Understand requirements for NMC professional Revalidation.
* Work independently under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, providing holistic evidenced based high quality care to patients with professional accountability for own actions.
* Understanding of the importance of following procedures and treatment plans Supervise and delegate appropriately to support staff within the team and support and supervise students and learners who are on placement.
* Be responsible for delivering high quality, patient centered, compassionate care under the direction of a Registered Nurse with a focus on promoting health and independence.
* Be an accountable professional.
* Work as part of a designated clinical and care team delivering care that focuses on the direct needs of the individual.

Qualifications
* Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register.
* GCSE Grade A-C in Maths & English or skills level 2 Maths & English or equivalent.

* Experience of working in teams under appropriate supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
