StylesPrecision Ltd, based in Hartlebury, Worcestershire require anexperienced CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator to join ourgrowing and innovative family business. We specialise in highquality CNC Precision Machining. Our plant includes 3, 4 and 5 axisCNC Milling Machines, as well CNC Lathes and EDM Wiring capability.Our customers include Pharmaceutical, Renewable, Engine Test,Packaging, and Security Industries. Top quality parts gohand-in-hand with a top- quality service, which is why we havecustomers continuing to use our services after 20 years oftrading.
The candidatewill be working closely with other members of our busy ProductionTeam, responsible for producing parts to customer drawings, willhave a proven track record in sub-contract machining and haveworked in a production engineering environment, be capable andcompetent in using Heidenhain Control and understanding of offlineCAD/CAM Software.
Theideal applicant will be proficient in programming, setting, andoperating CNC Milling Machines, preferably with productionexperience. Flexibility and “can do” approach in programming,setting, and operating all these machines when necessary is alsokey, in covering holidays, sickness and potential extended hours tosuit business needs. Technical knowledge and approach to toolingand machining varied materials will also be required. Identifyingand implementing continuous process improvements which willincrease efficiency and output is also what we are looking for todrive the companyforward.
Key DutiesandResponsibilities:
* Toprogram, set, and operate CNC Milling Machines to produce componentparts to drawing and processrequirements.
* The CNC Miller will assistin the manufacturing of parts through the production process,ensuring planned times for setting and manufacturing are met orimproved, and high-quality parts produced within requiredperformance, cost, and deliverytargets.
* Setting and Operating 3, 4 and 5Axis CNC Milling Machines using HeidenhainControls
* Programming from printdrawings.
* Ability to work to exactingstandards on tight tolerances
* Adhering toquality standards and checking work using a variety of differentinstruments
* Mainly small batch work usinga variety of varied materials
* You may berequired to work alternative shifts / hours
* Youmay be required to perform any other reasonable duties/specificprojects from time to time and as directed bymanagement.
KeyCompetencies andExperience:
* Experienceusing CNC Machines with Heidenhaincontrols
* Good working knowledge of componentdimensions using various inspection equipment - including but notlimited to Micrometers, Verniers and PlugGauges.
* Good working knowledge of manufacturingtechniques and Engineering drawings isessential.
* Ability to produce components todrawing tolerance and specifications, efficiently and accurately asrequired by internal and external customerspecifications.
