We are looking for a fabulous Mid Weight Interior Designer to join our vibrant and fast-growing company, based in Birmingham. 2G specialise in developing beautifully crafted hospitality spaces and offices. What you’ll be doing:
* Collaborating with the team to see the design through from concept to completion
* Taking clear, detailed briefs from Management
* Translating Client aspirations & Brand
* Developing briefs into sketch proposals
* Producing photorealistic renders
* Developing mood/ material selection/ sample boards
* Scheduling FF&E
* Produce high level, detailed technical drawing packs
* Ensuring projects are kept within budget
* Assist & report to the Head of Interior Design & Directors in general project development
* Participate in meetings & presentations to discuss design concepts & minute feedback
* Acquiring quotations, liaising with suppliers
* Maintaining sample library
* Contributing to Social media & Marketing Campaigns
* Carry out any other duties reasonably requested by the Directors or Design Manager.
* Representing the 2G Design & Build brand & ethos
What you'll need to succeed:
* A Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design/ Interior Architecture & Spatial Design or related field
* 5+ years of experience within the commercial Interiors Industry
* A passion for interior design & all aspects of the role
* Strong creative & conceptual thinking
* Good proficiency of AutoCAD/ Vectorworks, Microsoft Office, Sketch Up, Adobe InDesign & Photoshop
* D5 rendering skills would be advantageous
* Be organised & have exceptional attention to detail
* Ability to self-check details & implement the expected quality of all material submitted by the company
* Friendly, approachable & above all, a team player, with excellent verbal & written communication skills
* Ability to work effectively both independently & as part of a collaborative team
* Proof of Right to Work (where required)
* This role is based in Birmingham so you need to be commutable to the office.
