This position is for 40 hours per week.
As a Deputy Home Manager, you’ll ensure that the level of clinical care we offer goes beyond just professional standards and statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements. This includes providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence, and supervising/coaching colleagues to provide a service that’s unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues.
HC-One is looking for a Deputy Home Manager with a valid PIN number, knowledge of National Standards, and NMC code of practice. A background in person-centred care planning within a care home is essential. You should possess brilliant, positive energy and a natural ability to get along with people. As a great mentor, you can manage time effectively and maintain meaningful records. When communicating with residents or co-workers, you’ll be considerate and kind, valuing kindness above all, as it drives every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes.
By joining HC-One, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give back to those people. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility; therefore, it is important to recognize the signs that may indicate possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and undertake additional training in associated areas. You will also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
In addition to your salary, we offer paid NMC PIN renewal and Nursing Times Membership, along with access to a variety of benefits and services to support your physical and psychological well-being. Throughout your career as a Deputy Home Manager, HC-One will invest in you, and you will enjoy additional support and benefits including:
