Job Title: Account Executive
Reports to: Research & Development Manager
Job Purpose: To ensure that all finished goods stock are ready and available to be dispatched in line with customer’s orders and requirements whilst adhering to the Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Role Responsibilities:
1. Translation of customer forecasts and orders into accurate production work instructions
2. Responsible for raising, processing and managing customer’s orders
3. Undertake vendor and forecast analysis
4. Maintain and understand internal and external customers' Service Level Agreements (SLA)
5. Investigate and resolve invoice, credit and customer complaints/queries
6. Responsible for the smooth and effective organisation of all administration procedures for the business
7. Use web-based and manual management information system to support all aspects of the customer service function
8. Ensure customer terms are adhered to and aged stocks are controlled and invoiced accordingly
9. Work closely with Supply Chain to monitor and maintain raw materials and finished goods to Service Level Agreements parameters
10. Liaise on relevant product lines being developed, ordered and shipped in line with customer demand
11. Critical path management to ensure orders are met and timelines adhered to
Driving Results:
1. Manage department’s Key Performance Indicators to meet agreed targets
2. Investigate and manage corrective actions which arise from feedback
3. Identify and highlight opportunities to increase margins/profitability and efficiencies
4. Highlight opportunities for cost-effective production batching
5. Provide accurate and timely work instructions to production
6. Develop and maintain effective internal and external customer relationships
7. Provide support to Business Development/Sales function
8. Attend customer briefings/meetings/reviews
9. Experience within a B2B Customer Service environment; experience gained within the print packaging industry would be advantageous
10. Experience of managing and developing relationships with multiple customers
11. Experience of continuous improvement initiatives/projects
12. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
13. Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
14. Good organisational skills and disciplined approach
15. Good working knowledge of IT software; i.e. Microsoft Office
16. Self-motivation with the ability to think individually with well-reasoned decision-making qualities
17. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced & high-volume manufacturing environment
18. Ability to react quickly and adapt to change on a daily basis
19. Flexibility in both thought and action, offering proactive, creative solutions and improvements
20. Passionate about results and fundamental belief in Health & Safety, Quality, performance and training
21. Ability to prioritise workload, use own initiative, work within a team as well as work on your own
