As an IT Support Technician, you will report to the IT Support Lead. Your role will be to provide 1 st line IT support to staff at The Childrens Trust, supporting the site at Tadworth, home workers, volunteers and our 14 retail shops. The successful candidate will assist with management of calls via the IT Service Desk. Role requirements: Provide first line IT support Provide technical support to staff and volunteers within the organisation Work in a Helpdesk environment with ticket escalation, recording all support activities Assist with projectors, interactive whiteboards and AV equipment Arrange warranty hardware repairs Survey IT equipment and keep asset registers up to date Deliver services to support an 8am - 6pm coverage within an agreed pattern of rotation. Communication Facilitate effective communication with the organisation. Maintain clear and concise documents and records, in accordance with The Childrens Trust Policies. Ensure documents are managed confidentially at all times. Answer and manage telephone enquiries in a professional manner, taking messages and referring to relevant staff members, as and when required. Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time.
