We have been an established and respected provider of Residential Care for young people in the West Midlands for over 20 years. During this time we have provided a warm and nurturing home for our young people whilst they grow and flourish under our care. Our residential homes are modern and welcoming and can provide care for up to 3 young people aged 8-18 with challenging behaviours and ADHD. We follow a therapeutic approach implemented by the passionate and driven team we currently have in place. We require a Children's Residential Support Worker to join us and ensure our young people feel happy and safe and can express their views and feelings. The perfect candidate will be naturally calm and patient, some of our young people have suffered traumatic periods in their short lives so it can take time to gain their trust. Shifts will be 24 hours and consist of an early, late and sleep combined, we ask you to complete up to 10 per month, which also ensures lots of rest days to refresh yourself. Salary for the role based on 10 full shifts will be around £32,000, we also provide a generous holiday allocation, free meals on shift and access to our therapeutic services. Due to future expansion, we will also be able to share our experience and knowledge and offer you the chance to progress to a more Senior role, many of our Registered Managers have benefitted from our mentoring programme to achieve this. Not many people can day they change lives daily, but this role will give you the opportunity to do just that and help provide our young people with a great start in life and create happy memories that will last a lifetime.
