Project Manager
For this role you will have delivered multiple electrical projects and have worked within the electrical industry (ICP/DNO/IDNO/CPO) and have a good understanding of working with electrical design.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to come and join our growing Operations team. Overseeing multiple projects around the UK, you will be the primary point of contact internally and externally. You will focus on ensuring effective communication is maintained with all stakeholders throughout the project life cycle from award to completion.
The Project Manager will be a self-starter with project management experience within the electrical industry who challenges what we do on a daily basis and thrives working in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines helping us build for the future.
Project Manager duties:
You will be producing and maintaining accurate records of work undertaken and maintain up-to-date and current programme.
You will embed project control and governance in line with Sinewave processes.
You will design and maintain accurate and current programs of work for the projects they deliver.
You will provide project planning, milestone management, scope management, resource management; contractor management, financial management; change management across the project portfolio.
You will be supporting the Commercial team with project feedback, recommendations and lessons learned.
You will deliver projects sustainably in consideration of competence, capability and safety.
You will conduct management audits.
You will ensure cross-programme dependencies are managed accurately.
You will ensure efficient change control methods and processes are utilised.
The Project Manager will have a proven track record of:
Working across multiple disciplines and dealing with sites, customers and designers daily remaining organized and agile whilst working with multiple teams and individuals.
Maximising profitability for the business at all times, considering innovative or better practices to deliver project efficiency wherever it is possible to do so.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt communication styles
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to use own initiative as well as work collaboratively as part of a team
Commercially aware with a clear understanding of implications decisions may have on the overall business
Good knowledge and experience in Project Management within the electrical utility industry
Good awareness of electrical networks and supporting documentation & industry terminology.
Agile in challenging situations with the ability to find appropriate cost-effective solutions
Strong organisational and co-ordination skills
Basic awareness of tendering
The Project Manager will have experience & qualifications in:
CSCS (or equivalent)
SPA (Petrol Forecourt)
SSSTS
Project Management
Delivering multiple electrical projects
Working within the electrical industry (ICP/DNO/IDNO/CPO)Experience and good understanding of working with electrical design
Proficient in the use of Productivity and Collaboration Software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint etc. across multiple platforms such as smart phones, tablets, laptops etc.
Driving Licence (maximum of 3 points)
The Project Manager salary is £40-55k + excellent benefits
