Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/. Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for Statistics & Decision Sciences (SDS) Summer Interns across multiple European locations. These internships are available for undergraduate and graduate students working towards a degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related Quantitative discipline. There are up to 10 positions available. Students will have the opportunity to work with practicing statisticians and computing science specialists and to learn about practical, applied statistical needs and solutions specific to clinical or nonclinical pharmaceutical industry settings. Our teams benefit from the student's academic training and in turn contribute to the further professional development of the student as well as have a first-hand opportunity to evaluate the student's potential for future employment. In this role, students will be involved in activities such as: Supporting Research and Development in areas that range from Drug Discovery through Phase 2 and 3 clinical studies Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, including: Data preparation Graphical exploration of data Statistical model building and analyses Report writing Writing of computer programs or software applications associated with the statistical analyses. Other activities may include: Designing experiments Conducting simulations to evaluate optimal designs Participation in methodological development. Qualifications: Successful candidates must, by the start of their employment, have permission to work unrestricted in the country to which they are applying Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited university pursuing the following degrees: Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related Quantitative discipline. Candidates must be available to work full-time for 12 weeks from June 2025. Demonstrated leadership is preferred. Proficiency in R is preferred. Candidates must be detail-oriented, highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks. Candidates must have the ability to work individually (independently) as well as on a team. Participation in campus/community service activities is desired.
