To provide support with administration and finance activities in the UK. Support the finance policy, directives, and the Finance & Admin business plan.

Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Raise necessary Sales invoices for various customers both external and internal
* Collate costs for relevant shipping line calls in Southampton
* General ledger reconciliations
* Ensure transshipment cargo is reconciled against relevant import/export voyage
* Voyage reconciliations
* Update of land storage details
* Update voyage books with coda port call expenses
* Basware - in house system for registering purchase invoices
* Complying at all times with the Company's policies and procedures
Qualifications
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
* Extensive knowledge of Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger
* Good understanding of accounting principles
* Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
* Ability to take initiative
* Self-motivated and confident, working independently as well as in teams
* Highly organised, accurate and structured
* Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Minimum intermediate level)
* Strong interpersonal, intercultural and social skills
* Positive attitude to work
* Finance education to at least degree level or equivalent
EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE
* Previous experience working with financial systems and business intelligence tools
