Are you and experienced Technical Project Manager looking for a move? Randstad CP is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join their Team on a permanent basis.
This role will be responsible for managing and supporting the timely delivery engineering project works across a a large static site as well as providing general technical support. This will include the planning and delivery of elements of the annual life cycle replacement programme, capital works up to agreed value, provide interface with the SPVs and the Boards and supporting the Hard FM contract leads in all aspects of this activity.

Main Accountabilities:
1. Project management of individual life cycle replacement schemes, minor new works, and capital works, to include co ordination, programming, and financial control to stringent requirements of both timescales and costs.
2. The preparation of tender documentation and evaluation of tender returns for Life Cycle, Minor New Works, and capital works
3. Provide reports detailing the asset condition and any work necessary to maintain 4 sites at the appropriate designated maintenance standard.
4. Carry out environmental and estates condition audits to identify asset conditions and future maintenance requirements
5. To assist in the formulation of forward lifecycle replacement plans detailing the prioritisation of works and estimated costs on a rolling programme
6. Commissioning and management of project consultants, architects, and consulting engineers to form seamless professional multi-disciplinary teams
7. Minimise disruption to the clinical continuity and mitigate / control project specific risks from unavailability and service performance deductions
8. Ensure correct implementation and compliance with all statutory requirements and regulations covering all aspects of building services project work
9. Carry out Authorised/Responsible person duties appropriate to discipline including but not limited to temporary Works Co-ordinator and Working at Height
10. Technical and managerial support in the delivery of the capital works programme pre and post design evaluation, on site supervision of elements of the capital schemes
11. Management of specialist sub-contractors to ensure compliance, competency, quality of work and value for money.
What you'll need to do the role:
12. Qualified in a relevant technical discipline leading to a professional qualification or equivalent knowledge, skill, and experience
13. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory capacity in mechanical or electrical engineering or project management
14. Experience and knowledge of building services and M&E design requirements
15. Computer literate, particularly in the use of project and fiscal management software tools.
Desirable
⦁ Experience and knowledge of building and design requirements
⦁ A good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
⦁ A good understanding of the management of building contracts and contract law
⦁ Demonstrate knowledge of statutory legislation
