Job summary Sloan Medical Centre is looking to recruit an experienced Phlebotomist to join our large expanding clinical team. We are a growing practice with an increasing patient list. Hours are Tuesday 8-4pm, Wednesday 2-9pm and Friday 10-6pm. A few times a year the Friday will be 12-8pm Main duties of the job New patient health checks Phlebotomy & Community Phlebotomy Chaperoning duties Refrigeration Monitoring and recording Processing and management of laboratory samples as and when requested by GPs/Nurses Clearing and re-stocking consulting rooms Preparing and maintaining environments and equipment before, during and after patient care interventions including assisting GPs during the performance of minor operations Assisting in the assessment and surveillance of patients health and well-being Helping to raise awareness of health and well-being and how it can be promoted Assisting with the collection and collation of data on needs related to health and well-being Appropriate data recording for all consultations on the practices clinical computer system Attending meetings, study days, educational seminars where appropriate About us We believe in Person-Centred, holistic care, working in partnership with our patients and local community.
