GTC, who are part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for a Multi Utility Project Manager who would like to help us reach our mission of ‘making lasting connections with our customers to improve their lives’.
As the Multi Utility Project Manager your key responsibilities are:
* Responsible for Health and Safety matters relating to the Installation and Commissioning of the Utility Networks.
* Responsible for the initial and ongoing site meetings including CDM pack handover. Attend monthly site progress meetings with the Customer and any further meetings required to ensure progression of site variations and internal major design changes as per the business processes.
* Ensure adherence to the agreed ‘one week’ timeline for contacting all new sites and appropriate supervision to ensure the assets are constructed as designed, in a safe manner and recorded correctly.
* Responsible for project management of network construction including material control and Plant.
* Responsible for monitoring of productivity in line with the expected costs of the Projects which you are responsible for.
* Responsible for the initial and ongoing site meetings, including where necessary a CDM pack handover. Attend regular progress meetings with the customer and any further meetings required to ensure timely progression of works.
About you:
* Excellent verbal communication skills.
* A full UK driving licence.
* Experience and/or qualifications in Gas, Electric, Fibre or Water Distribution Systems.
* NRSWA supervisory card, relevant SHEA card and CSCS registration.
* Working knowledge of Current Legislation, Technical Standards & Specifications and Codes of Practice.
