TheRole
As a Supervisor you are theultimate Service Role Model in our store. Along with the Managersyou are responsible for creating a world class shopping environmentfor our customers. You lead the team setting the pace driving theproductivity whilst maintaining a positive and fun environment. Youinspire the teams by showcasing what great lookslike.
You will be responsible for leading theteam day to day in all areas of the store deputising for theManagers ensuring both the sales floor and behind the scenes runssmoothly. You are an excellent communicator and always work withpace and authority getting the best from theteam.
Responsibilities
Supervise team members in duties and performance providing feedbackwhere necessary and reporting team strengths and weaknesses tomanagement.
Motivate guides and mentors team members toexceed goals and creates a positive environment duringshifts.
Train new team members in company standardscustomer service and job duties.
Work with othersupervisors and management to set and evaluate stock logisticsprojects and overallgoals.
DrivingResults:
Clearly communicates with and directsthe team to ensure all tasks are delivered.
Drives anybusiness initiatives and encourages and supports the team todeliver the targets set e.g. email capture.
Supports theManagers to achieve all targets set for the team.
Buildsrelationships across the Business to share bestpractice.
CommercialFlair:
Make commercial decisions andsuggestions to improve Business performance.
Drives theteam to ensure l Store standards meet the Company expectationcreating the right shopping experience for our customers Ensuresthe team deliver all sizes out and escalates to the Managers anyissues that prevent the stock being there for ourcustomers.
Uses all Business reports available toeffectively identify risks and opportunities and can use thereports on store visits.
Aware of what the competition isdoing on the high street and Internet supporting the Managers toensure we are always a step ahead providing a unique shoppingexperience

You support the Manager recruit new team members and act as a coachfor them.
Helps the Managers create a culture wherewellbeing matters good performance is rewarded and recognised andbuilds a community which people want to be part of.

Operations:
Able to spot potential risks and takes action where appropriatealways escalating them to a Manager
Takes accountabilityfor the Health and Safety of customers and the team taking actionto reduce risks where appropriate and there by supporting theManagers to meet all H&S requirements
Supportsthe operational running of the store holding the store and leadingthe team acting as a key holder and ensuring that all proceduresare adhered to
Is aware of the impact that Stockloss andmarkdowns have on the store and supports controllingthis
FutureFocus:
You are aware of the day today in store planning the weeks ahead that are relevant to yourrole ensuring the team are in place and aware of future eventscoming up i.e. stock takes layout changes promotional activityetc.
You embrace new technology and Business initiativescoaching the team to understand the importance and commercialimpact of moving to be a multichannel brand allowing customers toshop online and instore.
