We are looking for a suitable applicant to join our Estates Management Team that maintains and develops a substantial Estate at one of the country’s foremost Teaching Foundation Trusts.
Duties will involve:
1. Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance across the site.
2. Assisting craftsmen with major repairs.
3. Carrying out regular inspections of plant and equipment while ensuring irregularities are promptly reported.
4. Maintaining the Trust’s building fabric, engineering plant, building services, and equipment in an efficient, economic, and safe manner, in accordance with Health & Safety and other relevant regulations, guidelines, Codes of Practice, and Departmental and Trust Policies.
5. Undertaking general housekeeping duties to ensure an acceptable level of workshop and plant room cleanliness.
6. Becoming proficient in the operation of steam raising boiler plant and acting in a team rotational basis to cover duties in this area.
7. Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance unsupervised across the site.
