About The Job As a Student Support Worker, you will support students across their residential and educational settings. You must be passionate about making a genuine difference to the young people we support and putting them at the heart of everything we do. Day-to-day, your role will include… Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team that shares a common goal; to achieve the best for our students Enabling students to access learning, using needs-specific, personalised approaches, both with 1:1 and group learning activities Encouraging independence among the young people you support Contributing to individual student records and reports, in consultation with the class Teacher and specialist staff Supporting students at home (onsite), attending and contributing to classroom, curriculum, staff, and other vital meetings Completing administration work Promoting high standards of hygiene and welfare for students at home and in class About You Experience is not essential; we look for people who share the same great qualities as our existing Student Support Workers.
