About Us
We are a well-known healthcare group with reliable, dedicated, and professional staff within our services. We care for adults aged 19 - 60 who have learning difficulties and mental health issues. Malvern Crossing is a 7-person supported living house in Tewkesbury. The service has a variety of complex healthcare needs in peg feeding, epilepsy, and stoma care. There are PWS that require the following equipment - wheelchairs and hoists. This role relies heavily on good teamwork and communication with the PWS, the staff team, and professionals.
THE ROLE
The role is rewarding as you will have the privilege to support wonderful people live their lives with choice and dignity, assisting them to achieve their life goals and promoting independence along the way. This role includes support with day-to-day tasks in the home and in the community - it may involve supporting our residents going out in the morning and taking them to an activity in the afternoon, assisting them to get ready, helping with shopping, cooking, or cleaning.
This is a great opportunity to build strong and positive relationships with brilliant adults, professionals, and their families, helping each of them to find further independence and confidence throughout adulthood. You will engage in fun, long walks, outdoor educational trips, and interactive, practical hands-on activities.
The job entails supporting adults in developing key skills and continuing to thrive in life. You will be required to work weekends and evenings.
