N-able is looking for a Solutions Engineering Manager to lead a team of Solutions Engineers supporting N-able partners. This role is crucial in driving the effectiveness of N-able's Partner Success efforts, overseeing a team of specialized Solutions Engineers that partners closely with Partner Success Managers (PSMs). This team strives to implement best practices in N-able products, act as technical advisers, help MSPs scale and automate, and ensure feature adoption gives MSPs quick time to value and ROI. As a Solution Engineer, you have assigned customers and strive to keep them technically strong.
You will collaborate closely with our Partner Success Managers and Growth Strategists to unlock large deals, drive growth, and provide innovative solutions that enhance automation, security, and best practices across the MSP stack. As a member of our team, you will be crucial in expanding the use of our innovative, trustworthy RMM, Security, and Data Recovery tools. We strive to ensure that every MSP can operate effectively and efficiently. What You'll Do
* Lead and manage a team of Solutions Engineers focused on supporting MSP and IT Professionals, providing ongoing coaching and mentorship to maximize their impact.
* Build strategic partnerships with Partner Success to ensure alignment and collaboration on key opportunities and initiatives.
* Drive projects and implement processes that enhance efficiency and overall team performance.
* Oversee the technical post-sales process, ensuring your team is equipped to handle complex requirements, product functionality, feature adoption, security reviews, and technical integrations.
* Adapt strategies to align with product updates and the evolving needs of MSPs, responding proactively to market changes.
* Act as a key player in scaling the N-able partner journey, working to improve critical metrics like feature adoption, hard and soft churn, and more.
* Ensure partner feedback is communicated to Product/Engineering teams to inform development and shape go-to-market strategy, aligning our product with customer needs.
What You'll Bring
* Track record of management experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering/Consulting, or Value Engineering within a SaaS company.
* Experience managing solutions engineering/pre-sales or post-sales Customer Success Engineering teams that support complex use cases.
* Demonstrates strategic thinking and the ability to execute key initiatives that improve team performance and efficiency, particularly in MSP conversations.
* Is a strong communicator who can build effective relationships with Partner Success and Growth Strategy management and cross-functional teams.
* Understanding of the complexities of MSP environments, including navigating difficult use cases, integration and feature adoption configurations, and security reviews typical in MSPs to deliver winning outcomes.
* Is adaptable and can lead a team through the challenges of constantly evolving products and in a competitive market.
* Has experience in building and scaling high-performing teams.
* Is able to collaborate in person 3 days per week in our Dundee or Edinburgh office, at times traveling if necessary to other hubs where your team is based.
