The Portsmouth Marriott Hotel is looking for a Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team!
We are looking for a passionate Chef de Partie wanting to deliver a first-class experience at the world leading hospitality company Portsmouth Marriott Hotel. Located near famous landmarks such as the Spinnaker Tower has a range of amenities including: Cast Iron Bar & Grill, our signature restaurant and fitness centre.

As the Chef de Partie you will…
1. Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu
2. Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner
3. Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature
4. Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
5. Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers
A successful Chef de Partie is someone who…
6. Enjoys the fast-paced kitchen environment
7. Is a team player
8. Can communicate clearly (verbal, listening, writing)
9. Is proactive, reliable and can support shifts including weekends and bank holidays
10. Has NVQ Level 1 and/or 2 (desirable)
