We are looking for a Hospital Key Account Manager who will consistently achieve sales targets and defined commercial objectives set through a strategic planning process and delivered through a process of advanced Key Account Management (KAM). Building relationships within the hospital sector and identifying new business opportunities.
Your responsibilities:
Implementing and management of commercial programmes and agreements to maximise sales benefit within Hospitals.
* Previous experience of selling generic products to Hospitals.
* Working within allocated budgets and the company’s processes. Understanding and appropriate use of pricing and discount structures.
* Developing a comprehensive understanding of the market and identifying commercial threats and opportunities through market changes.
* Communicating implications and impact of commercial programmes to company’s stakeholders including sales personnel, supply chain, marketing and finance.
* Collaboration with stakeholders when making changes to programmes.
* Working closely with all key departments, specifically marketing, finance, and supply teams.
* Building and sustaining effective and long-term relationships with key customers, internal and external organisations.
* Acquisition of new business.
* Adhering to the company’s policies, procedures and GDP Code of Practice.
Skills requirements:
* Experience selling to Hospitals, mainline wholesalers, short-line wholesalers, and large pharmacy groups.
* Must have experience of working with Generic Hospital products.
* Ability to learn and adapt to changes and new strategies.
* Ability to build positive working relationships at all levels.
* Strong presentation skills.
* Experience delivering client-focused solutions to meet customer’s needs.
* Excellent listening and negotiating skills.
* Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
* Must be able to work both independently and within a team environment.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
* Valid driver’s license.
