We're Sunray, a Cornwall based fly fishing tackle DTC brand. We are 10 years old and continue to grow year on year. We innovate in the World of fly fishing tackle and we innovate in the World of e-commerce.
Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Digital Designer to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the visual identity of the Sunray brand across multiple platforms. The role requires a dynamic individual passionate about creating beautiful images and stories across email, Facebook, SEO, and print platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create the graphic design for major brand campaigns, creating comprehensive campaign packs that align with the brand’s vision and are adaptable across multiple channels, including social media, paid ads, e-commerce, and customer service.
2. Work with our e-commerce team to collaborate on the design and update of the Sunray website, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience.
3. Oversee and create our Klaviyo email marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency with the brand's aesthetic.
4. Create engaging Facebook and Google digital advertisements, ensuring they are performance-optimised and aligned with campaign goals.
5. Design packaging and other print materials, maintaining brand consistency and quality.
6. Collaborate with marketing, product, and e-commerce teams to ensure cohesive brand representation across all customer touchpoints.
7. Create photography and video content, including planning, art direction, and post-production.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Minimum five years of experience in digital design, with a preference for experience in outdoor sports.
2. Intermediate in Klaviyo, Shopify, Google Ads, SEO, Keyshot, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Final Cut.
3. Proficient knowledge of Final Cut or Premiere Pro is essential.
4. Knowledge of current design trends and the ability to implement them effectively in brand campaigns.
5. Experience with Shopify and Klaviyo is essential.
6. Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate briefs into compelling design solutions.
7. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
8. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organisation.
9. Positive attitude and a strong desire to grow with the company.
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in digital design, preferably in an outdoor sports environment.
People You'll Work With:
Directly reporting to our MD/Chief Marketing Officer. Interact frequently with product development for design consistency across platforms.

Working Days & Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm.
Annual Leave:
28 days a year, with the expectation of keeping October relatively light and November to early January available for peak business periods.
