What you’ll be doing Day-to-day management of inbound and outbound contacts, visits to premises for revenue protection services, complaint handling and liaison with solicitors for legal actions. Fully utilise all available debt collection tools and techniques to maximise Business Debt collection, ensuring adherence to Debt Policy, Codes of Practice and all regulatory requirements. Manage third party agencies with performance calls, auditing, and performance against targets. Lead and manage the tender and contract sign off process for RPS outsourcing activities. Lead pricing strategy, contract negotiations and procurement of Mops for all warrants actions. Use performance reporting to understand, analyse and challenge key follow up activity trends and variances to implement improvements. Work with other departments to ensure awareness of the financial impacts of debt and write offs and influence any enhancements to processes. Implement a continuous improvement culture within the team and pro-actively identify problems, patterns and trends and identify solutions to address. Drive to towards industry leading processes with use of technology and data to maximise meter alarms and alerts to identify theft on SMART meters. What you’ll bring Educated to degree level or equivalent business experience at senior operational level with a proven track record in people management, change management and organisational development. Proven experience in Management of UK wide field resources, RPS/Credit management processes End to End Debt Collections experience in de-regulated Electricity and Gas Markets Excellent communication and influencing skills both verbal and written Comfortable with a rapidly changing environment and conflicting priorities The ability to understand complexity quickly and make decisions with confidence and clarity. Ability to stay calm under pressure and take risk balanced decisions. Extensive Industry experience in Excellent understanding and knowledge of debt collection end to end processes.
