The Role
Provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of clinicians, enabling clinicians to operate effectively and efficiently. Work in accordance with standard operating procedures.
What we'll need you to bring:
* SVQ level 2 qualification (or equivalent experience) plus experience in healthcare administration or a secretarial role
* Understanding of medical terminology
* Evidence of effective team working and dealing with change
* Evidence of strong communication skills with patients, clinicians, and colleagues
* Excellent organisational skills
* Evidence of strong competence with relevant IT systems
* Audio typing skills
Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
It would be great if you also have:
* Previous experience in healthcare administration or a secretarial role
* Able to modify and adapt communication style when communicating with patients, clinicians, and colleagues
Contract type: Permanent
Part Time: 16 hours
Please note this is a part-time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.
Location and Working Pattern: This role will be based in Brain Injury Rehabilitation within Stonehouse Hospital.
