The Role We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated skilled Trade Floor Application Support Analyst to join our Asset Management Business Technology Solutions team. The successful candidate will provide support for various financial applications including BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg, Tradeweb, DTCC, Morningstar, and Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of these systems and be able to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and provide training to end-users as necessary. Key Responsibilities Technical Provide technical support for trading platforms BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg, Tradeweb, DTCC, Morningstar, LSEG Workspace, AWS,, Lipper, BT Turrets, File transfer and Microsoft Excel Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to these financial applications in a timely manner Application access management Monitor the performance of the systems and proactively address any potential issues. Operational Collaborate with end-users to understand their needs and provide effective solutions. Conduct training sessions for end-users on how to effectively utilise the applications. Maintain documentation and knowledge base for troubleshooting and training purposes. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to financial applications. Being proactive with automation as a key driver, anticipating opportunities for systems, service or product improvement or development and taking appropriate actions. What we're looking for Experience (Essential) Experience within Financial Services / Asset Management Knowledge and experience of trade floor applications including; BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg, Tradeweb, DTCC, Morningstar, AWS or Azur and Microsoft Excel. An understanding of these systems and be able to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and provide training to end-users as necessary. A career history that includes leading a technical area; a track record of delivering responsive, high quality and customer focussed IT services. Technical Capability Experience of supporting BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg, Tradeweb, DTCC, Morningstar, and Microsoft Excel, AWS or Azure. Relevant certifications in the above platforms are desirable. Knowledge of financial markets and trading processes. Keeps abreast of the latest digital workplace strategies and Microsoft MMD Personal Attributes Being proactive, anticipating opportunities for systems, service or product improvement or development and taking appropriate actions. Dealing effectively with unexpected situations in a timely manner, taking advantage of opportunities and overcoming problems. Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills, coupled with excellent communication, analytical, influencing and facilitation skills, in particular for problem solving/troubleshooting activities Ability to manage multiple threads of work under pressure Qualifications Ideally educated to Bachelor's degree in either Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
