About the Role
As a Panel Beater / MET Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers' vehicles are repaired to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:
* Repair and Restoration: Restore damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition by repairing and replacing body components and conducting mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs.
* Assessment and Diagnosis: Utilize specialist equipment to assess damage, diagnose issues, and determine the best methods for repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles.
* Collaboration: Work closely with a dynamic team to ensure all work is completed efficiently, within agreed timescales, and complies with manufacturer specifications.
* Quality and Safety: Maintain high-quality standards and adhere to health and safety guidelines while keeping a clean and organised workspace.
What You Bring
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Experience: Proven experience as a Panel Beater or MET Technician from an accident repair background.
* Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of panel beating techniques and mechanical, electrical, and trim repair practices.
* Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
* Problem-Solving Abilities: The ability to assess and repair damage efficiently, with excellent troubleshooting skills.
* Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
* Qualifications: Ideally, ATA/NVQ qualified, with support provided for renewing qualifications.
