Reliability Technician

Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are proud to be working with a leading food manufacturer who are currently looking for a Reliability Technician to join their team in Livingston.
Responsibilities
* Drive the use of RCA to identify permanent fixes to area issues and ensure completion of actions.
* Prioritize weekly engineering workload in your area together.
* Ensure quality of any work carried out in your area is to your standards and will not lead to additional loss of reliability.
* Collect data and information related to the condition of your plant and machinery.
* Create reports of the actual machine state.
* Perform predictive maintenance tasks.
* Attend daily meetings for EWR prioritization.
* Report all abnormalities in your area and create all the WO to tackle them.
* Keep track of the WO backlog in your area.
* Propose changes to PPM to ensure continual improvement and help create PPM for new equipment.
* Participate actively in major repairs.
* Post-mortem check of equipment condition after the interventions.
* Plan and prepare your daily workload.
* Support the head of department to determine the medium and long term actions.
* Propose improvements and innovations in your field of responsibility.
* Study equipment failures and anomalies in order to provide solutions.
* Participate in the development of safe work procedures, together with safety and other departments.
* Observe and enforce safety and health standards.
* Carry out any necessary work to improve factory reliability.
Requirements
* Time-served engineer with electrical or mechanical background.
* IOSH trained.
* Food safety/Hygiene qualification is not essential but preferred.
* Detailed knowledge of using & developing MS Office products, particularly Excel.
* FMCG background (preferably food industry).
* Previous experience of predictive maintenance tools desirable.
