Job Title: Marketing Executive
Salary: £28,800 - £37,425 per annum
Location: Cambridge/Hybrid
Contract: Permanent/Full Time (35 hours per week)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join our large, talented, creative Marketing team. You will oversee the planning, delivery and reporting on part of our prestigious Journals list.

About the role
You'll be working with dedicated, supportive and friendly colleagues across many teams to create and deliver high-impact global marketing plans while providing an outstanding publishing service to our readers, authors and publishing partners.
Some key accountabilities will be:
1. Planning and executing marketing campaigns to ensure products reach their target markets and sales targets are met. This includes: email marketing, blog posts, social media, content marketing, brand marketing, advertising, and management (virtual and in-person) of stands at key conferences and society events.
2. Collaboration with and delegation of tasks to our Marketing Services team as appropriate.
3. Engaging in contact list-building campaigns to grow the internal database of marketing contacts.
4. Conducting close working relationships with commissioning Editorial teams in your subject areas, ensuring strong and clear two-way communication about key products and marketing strategies and plans.
5. Representing the Press at external business meetings, academic conferences, and industry events, providing a professional, customer-facing profile for the business.
About you
As our next Marketing Executive, you will have excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and time when managing a large portfolio of Journals. You will have strong analytical skills along with creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
In addition, to be successful in this role, you will:
1. Forge close working relationships with commissioning Editorial teams in your subject areas, ensuring strong and clear two-way communication about key products and marketing strategies and plans.
2. Have proven commercial awareness.
3. Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
