Job Summary
The Ministry of Defence employs over 50,000 Civil Servants. Within that, the Army Top Level Budget (TLB) employs around 7,000 MOD Civil Servants located at over 300 locations. Ours is a diverse workforce, with roles ranging from trainers, human resources, teachers, and psychologists to storekeepers, financiers, project and programme managers, and policy secretariat staff. There are many different functions and professions delivering key outputs for the Army. As such using data to aid understanding of our workforce is vital.
Headquarters London District are the main headquarters for British Army units within the M25 corridor of London and Windsor. It is responsible for all Regular units, Army Reserve units and Cadet Attachments. Headquarters London District is also responsible for leading and delivering London's ceremonial events. These include State Visits, Trooping the Colour and Beating of the Retreat at Horse Guards.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
Job Description
To provide guidance and advice to units within LONDIST and the Chain of Command (CoC) on matters relating to both Warning Sanction and Service Law and the Service Complaints process.
To ensure all discipline and Service Complaint matters are expedited in line with both policy and procedure, and within the prescribed timeframes and Key Performance Indicators.
* Engagement with all units and the Chain of Command regarding discipline and Service Complaint matters.
* Be the point of contact in terms of discipline and Service Complaints.
* Ensuring robust assurance and compliance of casework is conducted regularly. Complete the monthly assurances required at the end of each month.
* Ensuring changes to policy and guidance are promulgated throughout.
* Provide high quality stats and trend analysis regarding discipline within the District to assist the CoC in understanding current themes and issues.
* Report high-profile matters as a matter of priority to the CoC and all relevant parties, ensuring such matters are robustly tracked and monitored accordingly.

Essential Criteria
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively around the Department.
* Excellent written and oral communication.
* Manage people-sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
* Proficient at using Microsoft 365 and work applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
