Our brand new, state of the art central production unit caters for some of our smaller B&I locations across London. The team here supports our locations with homemade grab & go options along with various other offerings from cooked lunches to event catering. This is a full-time operation running from Sunday to Thursday.
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee our logistics operation in our CPU. The role will be responsible for ensuring all production meets regulatory requirements and customer expectations. You will implement and maintain quality control systems and work closely with production teams to drive continuous improvement in food safety and delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Input, update, and check recipes on the indicator database and create spec sheets, ensuring accurate ingredients, suppliers, quantities, methods, photos, and costings are included in all recipes.
2. Create and check daily and event menu allergens datasheets and ensure all customer allergen and nutritional info is available and accurate via the web app.
3. Print production reports for the kitchen, order sheets, labels, and all other reports and documents needed for the smooth running of the kitchen.
4. Quality control: Check site orders on Kanpla and liaise between site leads and the senior kitchen team to ensure accuracy of orders and kitchen production reports, always ensuring items and quantities are correct.
5. Prepare menus formatted for circulation internally and externally to clients.
6. Check stock of stationary items and complete accurate monthly stock takes in line with monthly reporting timelines, ensuring accurate counts and pricing.
7. Be aware of your responsibilities regarding Health and Safety at Work and follow all procedures, reporting to management any hazardous situation or accident.
8. Accurately pick, pack, check, and dispatch customer orders in line with all necessary checks to ensure 100% accuracy, on-time delivery, and quality of orders leaving the kitchen.
9. Manage the logistics driving team and vehicles.
10. Complete deliveries and collections to and from our customers’ offices and venues via van when needed.
11. Oversee and manage the logistics of client deliveries using ordering systems.
